509-3-.02 Basic Training Curriculum for Security Officers
The 24 hour, Basic Security Officer training program is mandated by the Georgia Secretary of State and the Georgia Board of Private Detectives and Security Agencies (GBPDSA) to perform unarmed security guard services in the state of Georgia.
After successful completion of the 24 hour Basic Security Officer Training program, the newly certified Security Officer is eligible to work with any (Licensed Security Company) of his or her choosing.
GA Investigations & Protective Services, LLC’s training program meets and exceeds the standards set forth by the GBPDSA.
All Instructors are Licensed, active Georgia Board Certified; Classroom / Firearm Training (CFTR).

Minimum Requirements for Attendance:
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
Possess a Valid State Driver’s License or State Identification
Obtain an Original Copy of a (Recent; within 7 Days) Criminal Background Check by a (Local Law Enforcement Agency).
Completed Registration and Fee.
Registration fees must be received to be eligible for scheduling.
